The family is getting together at your house, and you would like something a little different then the pine-cone turkey. Here are a few pretty centerpiece ideas everyone will love.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Oatmeal box Pilgrems: Paint two styrofoam balls pink. Get two oatmal boxes, insert dowel rod through hole in the top. Stick on the styrofoam balls. glue on googly eyes, cut features out of construction paper or felt. Am upside-down paper cup covered with black felt and a carboard briim makes a great hat. Paint oatmeal boxes or cover with felt for the bodies.

  2. Step 2

Razzle-Dazzle Cornucopia: Spray-paint several small pumkins and gourds gold and silver, let dry. Use hot glue gun to glue on rhinestones or beads. Spray paint cornucopia red or gold. Arrange with vegetables pouring out and autumn leaves.

  3. Step 3

Leaf tree: Start off with a flowerpot with a chunk of florist's foam inside. Insert a dowel rod in the middle. Attatch a large cone shaped piece of foam to the rod. Using a hot glue gun, glue vibrant fall leaves in a circle at the top, making layers until you have filled the entire cone.

  4. Step 4

Thankfullness Tree: Using the same sort of flowerpot as above, insert a tree branch no leaves and lots of branches sticking out. Have pieces of paper and string laying nearby so that eveyone can write down things they are thankful for and attatch them to the tree.

  5. Step 5

Use a wooden salad bowl to float pumpkin and leaf candles. Just make sure they don't get too close to last year's pinecone turkey!
