Three simple ingredients make this unique dessert

Three ingredient make this stunningly simple, yet delicious dessert which features blueberries in season! We don't have an official title, but we call it Mrs. Milligan's Blueberry dessert in honor of the host mother where my son was a guest.
It is so simple, you don't even really need a recipe, and your guest will go home raving and thinking of an occasion of their own when they can serve it.
Quantities can be varied to suit the taste of individuals, especially children. Enjoy!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/3 C Blueberries
  • 1/4 C Sour Cream
  • 1 T Brown Sugar
  1. Step 1

Set out dishes for the number of guests you wish to serve. I like to use clear glass custard cups or short glasses. Add 1/4 cup light sour cream to each dish.

  2. Step 2

Put 1/3 C fresh blueberries (washed and stems removed) on top of the sour cream. Do not stir, mix or combine, just the blueberries sit on top of the sour cream

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of brown sugar on top of blueberries (Brown sugar should be measured packed and slightly rounded)

Tips & Warnings
  • Prepare this dessert right before serving, so brown sugar does not have a chance to melt.
  • Or present ingredients in attractive serving dishes with measuring utensils and have your guest each prepare thier own.
  • If this recipe is prepared using light sour cream then the Wight Watcher Points value is 3.
