For now, separate the Crayon wrapper from the Crayon. Here, I had to use a knife.. do whatever you need to - tear, cut, whatever. There is no right or wrong way. Each is unique and different.

  2. Step 2
    Mod Podge and Flower Pot

Another way to do it would be to tear the wrappers into many pieces and make them smaller, or use tissue, wrapping paper, photos, newspaper the same way.

  7. Step 7
    Adding Coat of Mod Podge

Using the acrylic paints and a brush, paint the rim and or the inside of the pot with a colour to Match a crayon

Tips & Warnings
  • Use a garbage bag on the table to keep paint and glue off the table
  • Wear the Latex Gloves (usually found in the health section of Walmart, Walgreens, target, etc cheap)to keep paint and Mod Podge from getting on your hands.
  • If you are painting your flower pot a light colour like yellow, pink, light blue, etc, you might want to base coat the flower pot white first to make it easier for the light colour to be added on top. Otherwise, it might take many coats.
  • Can be messy
