During summer vacation many teenagers start to look for part-time jobs. Summer jobs are a great way for teens to make a little bit of extra spending money. Here are a few ways for teens to get a summer job.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Apply for a job at a fast food restaurant. Fast food businesses are great places to find work as a teenager. It is also usually an easy job to get at that age.

  2. Step 2

Do work for a neighbor. People hire teenagers in the summer to do work around their house. Usually the teen will mow the lawn, take care of the garden and feed some of their pets. This is one way to make some fast and pretty easy cash.

  3. Step 3

Work at your local school as a janitor. Many high schools hire students to clean the school during the summer. If you are a good student then usually all you have to do is apply for the job and you can get it fairly easily.

  4. Step 4

Baby-sit some of your neighbors children. Elementary school kids will be home for the summer and if their parents work they will need someplace to go. Many teenagers make their summer income by watching children and taking care of them.

  5. Step 5

Sell your things on eBay. You could always just sell your old Xbox, cd’s, and other old things on eBay. Just sell anything that you no longer want and you will be able to make a decent amount of money.
