Easily keep your convertible top clean, and looking new

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Go to your local Auto Zone and purchase "Blue Magic convertible top brightener protectant and cleaner"
Or you can go to any of your local stores and purchase a top cleaner.
I recommend the Blue Magic brand because it works very good.

You will also want to by a leather conditioner, it doesn't matter where you purchase it from I've found there all the same.

  2. Step 2

Clean the top first "might as well clean the whole car while your at it"
Dry the top as good as you can.

  3. Step 3

Wait atleast 15- 20 minutes to make sure the top is completely dry before you start reconditioning.

  4. Step 4

If your convertible top isn't really "bad" then you don't need to use the leather conditioner everytime you use the blue magic. Just skip this step

Make sure your car is out of direct sunlight

Put small amounts of conditioner on your top, and rub it in with a rag.
You will be able to see a difference in the colors of where you have conditioned, and where you haven't.
    Finnish this process.

  5. Step 5

Use a clean rag, and spray the Blue magic on the top, then rub it in.
You will also be able to see a color difference in the areas you have already rubbed the Blue Magic in.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always keep your vehicle out of direct sunlight when ever you do any cleaning to it.
  • You can use the convertible top cleaner on your leather/plastic interior parts as well.
  • Always test a small area of the vehicle with the product your using to make sure it wont "Stain" or ruin it.
  • If your hands are sensitive to chemicals, use plastic gloves.
