Purchase reading software such as the Reading Horizons software program that teaches you to read better and helps you with your language development. Actually hearing how to pronounce words and seeing them broken down in proper form will further enhance your reading and language skills.

Attend reading and language-development classes. You can receive a referral and sign up for these classes for free at your local job-services center. There are also learning centers, such as the Sylvan Learning Center, that you can attend for a fee.
