Are you tired of run-of-the-mill calendars where the pictures are generic? Do you get tired of having to write birthdays and anniversaries on your calendar year after year? Then you might want to personalize your own calendar.

  • Digital camera
  • Digital pictures, 1665 X 1325 pixels

Instructions

      Set your digital camera (with a minimum of 2 megapixels) to the highest resolution and take pictures. You can also go through digital pictures you've previously taken and select ones you would like to use in a calendar.

      Select a company such as Vista Print, Zazzle, Shutterfly or My Calendar (see links in References and Resources). Select the option to make the type of calendar you would like.

      Click the browse button and select the digital picture you would like displayed for that month. After the picture uploads, see if it is what you wanted and if not then upload another picture.

      Add birthdays and anniversaries and any special holidays or events you want printed on your calendar to the appropriate dates.

      Finalize your calendar. If the company prints and ships the calendar, select the quantity you want to order. If the company allows you to print the calendar yourself, load your printer with photo stock paper and print.

Tips & Warnings

  • Select pictures for each month before beginning. Select two to three pictures for each month in case your first choice doesn't fit right. Personalized calendars make great gifts, especially at Christmas.
