How to Customize Google Page Creator

Google provides iGoogle, its customized homepage creator, for free. You can incorporate a wide range of widgets, gadgets and plug-ins for your homepage. You can also use a number of different visual themes as well as tailor what news to display. You can view weather reports and stock prices and access your Gmail account.

Instructions

1. Navigate your web browser to Google's home page, listed in Resources.

2. Select the "iGoogle" menu option at the top of the Google home page.

3. Check the blank check boxes next to the items that interest you. Available topics include: Washington, Music, Business, Politics, Cooking, Sports, News, Games, Humor, Technology and Art.

4. Choose a "Google Theme" and then select the "city" and "country" that correspond to the region of the world you live and select the "See Your Page" menu option.
