Things You'll Need:

Step 1
The living conditions of your pet turtle are very important. The best comfortable place for it would be in a covered dry fish tank or an animal case that's usually used for small reptiles. Also, the body temperature of it depends on its surrounding temperature so you might want to have some kind of a heat source to keep it warm.

Step 2
Feeding the turtle is the easiest part out of it all since it eats a lot of what you might have in your kitchen. Here are some of the vegetables that it can eat: Cut-up little pieces of beet, carrots, boiled potatoes, and cabbage. Berries, apples, alfalfa, meats, and eggs are also very good for turtles. Turtles will also eat small pieces of white bread that have been soaked in milk. Make sure to feed her often if it eats bread but less if it eats cabbage.

Step 3
What to do when you think your turtle needs a bath: You can bathe it once a week in a small basin with a little less than half an inch of warm water. Leave her enjoying herself for about 20 minutes.
