Instructions

    • 1

Plant forget-me-nots after the last frost date of the year.

    • 2

Plant in a shady area. Forget-me-nots require little care in normal circumstances. They can grow in the sunlight but do best in the shade.

    • 3

Plant in an area with decent soil. Don't choose an area that has failed to support other plant life or where the ground is too hard.

    • 4

Make sure the plants stay watered. If rainfall in the area is not enough to keep the plants hydrated, water the plants on a regular basis. Check the soil daily to make sure it stays moist but not so wet the dirt washes away or the plants begin to die.

    • 5

Add fertilizer to the soil one to two times a season, depending on how well your flowers are doing. If they are blooming well, one time may be enough.
