How to Sign Up for Twitter

Twitter is a great way to stay in touch with people. Here are step by step instructions for making a Twitter account!

Things You'll Need:

• Computer
• Connection to the internet
• Yourself

1. Go to https://twitter.com/signup.

2. 
    

   Enter your full name. First and last will suffice.

3. 
    

   Create a username. People can find you with this.

4. 
    

   Create a password. Try mixing letters and numbers to make it difficult to break.

5. 
    

   Enter your email so they can contact you.

6. 
    

   Type the CAPTCHA. This is to make sure you're not a robot.

7. 
    

   Click "Create my Account" after checking the box saying "I've read and understand the rules".

8. 
    

   Either enter your password for your email account to see who you know on twitter or skip the step (located under the "continue" button).

9. 
    

   Next you'll see a bunch of famous people. You can choose to follow some of them (uncheck the boxes that you don't want to follow) or skip this step(located under the finish button).

10. 
     

    Congratulations, you now have a twitter account!
