Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A quality 260 Latex Balloon (the cheapie wally world ones suck)
  • Air Pump (or blow by mouth)
  • Sharpie Marker
  1. Step 1

Here's the hard part. No not really. Stretch and inflate the balloon to about 12".

  2. Step 2

Twist one small bubble (about 1/2"), then two slightly larger bubbles (about 3/4").

  3. Step 3

Pinch twist (twist onto itself) the first 3/4" bubble.

  4. Step 4

Now pinch twist the next 3/4" bubble.

  5. Step 5

Twist a tiny bubble for the neck. And two 1/2" bubbles.

  6. Step 6
    Twisted the two 1/2
    Twisted the two 1/2

Twist together the points where my thumb and index finger are (See image from step 5).

  7. Step 7

    Make three 1/2" bubbles.

  8. Step 8

Twist together the last two 1/2" bubbles like we did for the front legs, to make the body and hind legs.

  9. Step 9

Make a small bubble at the base of the tail. Deflate the end and tie off. Cut or leave long to make the tail.

  10. Step 10
    All done! How cute!

Now give the little mouse some eyes, a nose and some wiskers. We're done!

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are brave like me, you can make all the bubbles smaller and the mouse shrinks. I made them this size for ease and photos. Have fun!!
  • Twisting balloons can be highly addictive! Balloon animals are cool and fun!
