- Large glass bowl
- 1 Cup of water
- Strainer
- 2 tsp of elder flowers
- 8 tbsp of witch hazel
- 4 tbsp of glycerin
- Cotton balls

Step 1
This light non-foaming cleanser is part of a three step deep cleansing at home spa routine. The ingredients are all natural, and can be found in health food stores, or craft stores. This cleanser can also be used to remove daily grime, and is gentle enough for all skin types. Once made the cleanser can be stored in the refrigerator, but should be used with in a week.

Step 2
Dry elderflowersElder flowers have anti- inflammatory and anti- oxidant proprieties that help keep your skin beautiful. Place the dried elder flowers in the glass bowl, while the water boils.

Step 3
Large BowlBoil water over high heat, once the water has started to boil remove from heat and pour over the dry elder flowers. Cover the bowl and leave to completely cool.

Different plastic spray bottlesOnce the elder flower infusion is completely cool, using the strainer pour 4 tbsp of the elder flower infusion into a sterile plastic spray bottle, this will keep flower bits out of your cleanser.

GlycerinWitch Hazel is an astringent that is very helpful against acne and will gently clean your skin. Glycerin is very hydrating and leaves your skin very soft after use. Add the 8 tbsp of witch hazel and the 4 tbsp of glycerin to the sterile bottle, cover, and shake.

Step 6
Shake the bottle of cleanser before each use, then spray on your face. Using your fingertips gently massage your facial muscles. The massage will allow the cleanser to get deep into the pores. Rinse off the cleanser, then gently wipe your skin using a cotton ball, to remove any final traces.

If you are using this cleanser daily, remember to moisturize your face. The next step in in this deep cleansing routine is the Rose, Honey, and Almond exfoliant which is also very easy to make.
