4. Check out what is hot by going on social bookmark sites such as Digg, Delicious, Fark, Mixx, Newsvine, Reddit, StumbleUpon, and Diggit. These will tell you what people like so you can consider this when you are marketing. You can see the trends and tap into them.

5. Go onto YouTube and post. You can post all kind of things including product demos and information about your products. Plus you can read the comments and see what people are saying about your product.

6. Try out professional networking sites such as LinkedIn and Ryze so you can connect with businesses that may use your product or be interested in selling your product.

7. Be patient. It can take time to make a name for yourself and really succeed.
