Space Center Houston is the visitor's center for the Johnson Space Center, where astronauts train for their missions. You can get a behind the scenes look at the NASA training grounds by buying tickets for the Level 9 Tour. This four to five hour tour takes you to the astronaut cafeteria (where lunch is included in your tour), the space vehicle mock-up facility, both the new and old mission control centers, the space environment simulation lab and the Sonny Carter training facility.

      Go to the Space Center Houston Website and click on the link for visitor information. Choose the link for the Level 9 Tour. At the bottom of the page, click "Schedule Your Visit."

      Click on the calendar, and choose the date you wish to take the tour. Enter the number of tickets you wish to purchase in the box. Click "Add to Cart."

      Review your selection, and click "Checkout."

      Choose your desired delivery method for your tickets. Click "Continue."

      Enter your billing information and click "Continue."

Tips & Warnings

  • You must be 14 years of age or older to participate.

  • You can purchase tickets for the Level 9 Tour when you arrive at Space Center Houston, but only 12 tickets are sold for each tour, so it's best to plan ahead.
