If you like to write short poems-
You can write an amateur poetry book.
If you follow these steps, it will get you
ready for you first amateur poetry book publishing.

Things You'll Need:

  • Manuscript
  • Time
  1. Step 1

    Have a minimum of fifty poems.
    But I encourage you to write a least ten more poems, in the case the
    publisher wants more.

  2. Step 2

    Give it an appealing TITLE, let the title be connected with what the poems in this book have inspired you.
    Or use the name of one of your poems in this book.

  3. Step 3

    Write a short summary about your inspirations and writing experiences.
    Include a nice and professional picture of you, The Author.

  4. Step 4

    Write to whom you dedicate this book.
    A short sentence.

  5. Step 5

    Once you have put together an manuscript,
    search for a publisher that does not charge you, like publishamerica.com.

  6. Step 6

    When you have a publisher of interest, ask what you need to have in order to submit a manuscript.
    Always double check, be wise!

on 7/18/2009 This is good. I might just do this. I liked writing poetry but stopped. When I start back I will probably keep going and and turn it into a book.
