Clearing the browsing history on your iPhone or iPod Touch is simple - two methods are available to do so. Just follow these to learn how to clear the browsing history on an iPhone or iPod Touch.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • An iPhone or iPod Touch
  1. Step 1

There are two ways to clear an iPhone or iPod Touch's browsing history. Both are equally simple to do.

  2. Step 2

Method #1: Go to "Settings", and then click on "Safari". Once there, scroll down and you should see buttons that say "Clear History", "Clear Cookies", and "Clear Cache". Clicking "Clear History" will, obviously, clear the history on your iPhone or iPod Touch, but you should click all of them on occasions to clear up some space on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

  3. Step 3

Method #2: Open Safari, the iPhone's default browser. Next, look at the bottom of the screen at the little book icon. Click on it.

  4. Step 4

A list of your bookmarks should open up. At the top of this list, it should say "History". Click on it. Then, press "Clear" at the bottom, and your history will be cleared. You have just cleared the history on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
