No matter what your credit score is, this article will give you some tips on how to improve a credit score fast.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

To improve your credit score, pay your bills in full and on time.

Paying your utility bills, cell phone bills and other various bills on time will have a positive impact on your credit score. However, being late and inconsistent will have a negative effect on your credit score.

  2. Step 2

Keep your credit card balances as low as possible.

Try to pay off your credit card bills in full every month. Not only will this save you money on interest, but it will also positively improve your credit.

  3. Step 3

Check your credit report and get your credit score for errors.

Make sure all the information on your credit report is accurate and up to date. If there are any problems with your credit report, dispute them and fix them. This is a good habit to do at least once a year.

  4. Step 4

Use only the credit that you need.

If you can, don't max out your credit cards every month. It's much better to have the ability to get credit, but the responsibility to not use it to the full extent every month.
