How to Get Rid of Fleas From a Home
Fleas in the home often come from pets who spend time outdoors. The fleas make homes on the pets and invite themselves into your home. Since they can live in other areas, the fleas will spread throughout your home, including in your carpets and in your beds. It is important to get rid of the fleas as they will bite just about everyone. Most of the fleas will live in the home, while the other small group will live on the pets. Does this Spark an idea?

Vacuum all of your carpets. Move all of your furniture to ensure you reach every square inch of carpeting. Use the attachment on your vacuum cleaner to vacuum in crevices including at the baseboards. You won't be able to see the tiny fleas you are vacuuming up, but they are there. When you are finished, throw away the vacuum bag or empty the container completely. Tie up your trash bag and place that into another trash bag to make sure that they stay in there.

2
Use insecticide that gets rid of fleas, flea eggs and flea larvae. Use a insecticide for fleas that contains Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) as an active ingredient. This will stop the fleas from having more eggs. Spray all of your carpets, where your pets sleep and all floors. Leave the carpets alone for one week, then vacuum again.
