How to Change the Password of a Hotmail Email ID

Hotmail has been providing email services since 1996, and continues to be a leading email provider. Although it has gone through several name changes in the past, its services and general structure have remained largely the same. To prevent breaches in security and hackers, it is strongly recommended to update and change your Hotmail user ID's password every once in a while.

    • 1

Go to the Windows Live website (see Resources) and enter your Windows Live username and password. Click "Sign In".
