How To Change the Secret Question in Hotmail

Microsoft offers Hotmail, a web-based email client, for free. You can use a Hotmail email address to access Windows Live Messenger and Office Live. If you forget the password to your Hotmail account, you can reset it by successfully answering the secret question selected when you signed up for the account. To change the secret question, you must know your current Hotmail password and be signed in to your Hotmail account. To maintain the account's security, you cannot change the secret question unless you know the account password.
