How to Check an Internet Browsing History

Whether you are concerned about what your child is viewing while on the Internet or you want to visit a recently viewed website, it is helpful to know how to access your Internet history. The history feature of your browser tracks every website you go to. Checking your browsing history requires little time and you will be able to view sites you have visited for up to 2 weeks.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to the top tool bar of your Mozilla Firefox window and click "History." A window will pop up showing you your most recently viewed websites.

  2. Step 2

    Click "Show All History" under the "History" tab. This will show you your browsing history from today to history that is older than 6 days.

  3. Step 3

    Go to the upper right hand tool bar of your Internet Explorer browser and click "Tools > Tool Bars."

  4. Step 4

    Click "History." Click how far back you want to view your history on the left window. Choose between today's browsing history or history that has been two weeks old.

Tips & Warnings
  • Hitting the Ctrl + H keys together will bring up your browsing history for whatever browser you are using.
