How To Change the Domain Name in Windows
A domain name is a key part of the configurations on a network computer, as it allows the computer to join a domain ranging from a private one at home, to a corporate-wide domain used at the office. The computer's name plus the domain name together make a fully qualified name that identifies it on the network and enables protocols to route packets to the machine. Configuring a Windows machine with a domain name only takes a few steps.
