How to Change the Screensaver Timeout in the Registry
A screensaver is a program that is designed to prevent phosphor burn-in on cathode ray tube (CRT) and plasma monitors. They come in a variety of styles including 3D texts, animations and photos. When enabled, they automatically turn on when a computer has been idle for a selected period of time. The Windows registry is a large database that allows you to adjust the settings and configurations of screensavers and other applications. Using the registry you can easily adjust the screensaver timeout for when your screensaver will come on.
