      Check to make sure the Ron Popeil Pasta Maker is completely turned "Off." Remove the lid of the Ron Popeil Pasta Maker. Ensure the mixing basin is all the way onto the base or else the pasta maker will not work. Measure 2 cups of pasta flour. Add any herbs or spices you would like in your pasta. Pour the pasta flour and seasonings into the mixing bin. Close and secure the mixing bin lid.

      Select the shape of pasta you want to make. Select that pasta shaping die out and place in hot water for 1 minute. Remove and place the pasta shaping die on the front of the Ron Popeil Pasta Maker and secure with the locking ring.

      Pour 2 tbsp. of olive oil into the measuring cup that comes with the Ron Popeil Pasta Maker. Add 1 egg to the measuring cup with olive oil. Egg is optional. Blend together vigorously with a fork. Add water for plain pasta or a juice, such as carrot, spinach or tomato, for flavored pasta to either the "Oil+Egg+Liquid" line on the measuring cup or to the "Oil+Liquid" line if you are eliminating eggs.

      Turn pasta machine to "Mix." Pour liquid concoction slowly and evenly from the measuring cup into the liquid bin. Allow all liquid and pasta flour to mix for 4 minutes. Turn pasta switch to "Off." Wait until the motor stops completely. Turn Ron Popeil Machine to "Ext" for extrude and your pasta will begin to come out. Use a knife to cut pasta off in the lengths.
