How to Choose what Programs Start Up When You Turn on Your Computer
When you notice your computer dawdling at start-up, running slowly and using a more processing power, these are indications that too many programs are launching when you power on the computer. Some system programs and services are necessary, and must load at start up. The default setting for numerous software programs configures them to load when the computer boots, but several programs are not necessary.

Tips & Warnings
Windows Autoruns program gives you the option of permanently deleting the program file. Click on the file, then click the "Delete" button. Only delete a program if you are certain your system does not require it.
Be cautious about disabling or deleting programs if you are doubtful of their function. Removing required start-up files may cause your system to be unstable.
