Margarita Jell-O shots are a fun and tasty twist on the classic vodka Jell-O shot. All it requires is a few different liquors and voila! you have a jello shot for any themed party!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 6-ounce package lime Jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 1/2 cups white (not gold) tequila
  • 1/4 cup Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2oz souffle cups or shot classes
  1. Step 1

BOIL WATER. Just like any normal Jello shot, first step is to bring your two cups of water to a complete boil.

  2. Step 2

MIX. In a large boil, completely mix your lime Jell-O with your boiled water. Let the water and jello mix cool to room temperature.

  3. Step 3

ADD LIQUOR. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of white tequila, 1/4 cup of Triple Sec, and 1/4 cup of lime juice. Make sure everything is thoroughly mixed.

  4. Step 4

POUR. Carefully pour the jell-o mixture into 2oz souffle cups or shot glasses and place them in the refrigerator.

  5. Step 5

REFRIGERATE the Jell-O shots until they are well set, this should take at least six hours. Make sure you leave yourself enough time for them to set completely.

  6. Step 6

Remove your shots from the refrigerator just before you plan on serving them, and then party!

  7. Step 7

    Drink responsibly!
