Things You'll Need

  • 6-ounce package lime Jell-O
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups white tequila
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2-ounce souffle cups or shot glasses

      Bring 2 cups of water to a complete boil.

      Mix the lime Jell-O with the boiled water until the powder is dissolved. Let the Jell-O cool to room temperature.

      Stir in 1 1/2 cups of white tequila, 1/4 cup of orange liqueur and 1/4 cup of lime juice. Make sure everything is thoroughly mixed.

      Pour the Jell-O mixture carefully into the souffle cups or shot glasses and place them in the refrigerator.

      Chill the Jell-O shots until they are well set, about six hours. Remove them from the refrigerator just before you plan to serve them.
