Treat Burns NATURALLY
Treat Burns NATURALLY

Severe burns can be very traumatic on your body, so you should see a doctor if you have a severe burn. Burns are separated into three categories: First degree is where you have burned only the top layer of skin to where it is red and sensitive. Second degree is where the burn has affected more than just the top layer and will form a blister and is much more painful. Third degree is the most severe where you have basically burned completely through your skin and there can even be muscle and tissue damage. If you have a third degree burn you should see a doctor even if it is just a small area and not a severe extensive burn. Third Degree burns should not be treated or touched to remove anything melted to the area. If you have a third degree burn you should seek medical attention immediately as you may need surgical skin grafts to repair the burn.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

The first thing you should do for treatment of a first or second degree burn is to the cool the area. This is best done using a cool compress. Notice here how I said cool not cold, do not use ice cubes or water with ice. Do this for around 15 minutes.

  2. Step 2

The second thing you should do for treatment is get some Aloe Vera Gel. Fresh from the plant is best, but you can also purchase it. The Aloe will help with healing and pain. Aloe works very well will sunburns as well.

  3. Step 3

The third thing you should do for treatment is get some Colloidal Silver. Be sure to get the spray kind as it will be more effective applied topically. Colloidal Silver will help healing as it is a natural antibiotic.

  4. Step 4

The fourth thing you should do for treatment is start taking Vitamins A, B, C, E, and Zinc. Each one of these will either promote healing, aid in tissue repair, or reduce scarring. If you are pregnant be sure not to take in more than 10,000 IU per day of Vitamin A.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you have a third degree burn you should seek medical attention immediately!
  • If you are pregnant be sure not to take in more than 10,000 IU per day of Vitamin A.
  • Limit the sun exposure to the burn area, especially in the summer time. Believe it or not most sunburn is a first degree burn unless it is severe, so exposing your burn to the sun is basically slowly burning yourself all over again.
  • DO NOT POP BLISTERS! If you pop them you can cause infection.
