Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Internet
-
Step 1
Go to to the PayPal website which is https://www.paypal.com/. Now log in to your account or sign up if you do not already have an account.
-
Step 2
Once you are logged in, notice the two rows of tabs at the top of the page. You want the tab that is in the lower row of tabs, 3rd to the right that says withdraw. Once your cursor is on the withdraw tab, choose the first option entitled "transfer to bank account."
-
Step 3
Once the page loads, 3 rows will appear as follows.
From this balance: $5.09 (Amount of money in your PayPal account)
Amount: $5.09 (Amount requesting to personal bank account, normally the same as your PayPal balance)
To: [Your bank account] (Choose which bank account if more than one is available)
After you press continue you will be taken to the confirmation page. -
Step 4
Directly under "To:" there is an option to add a bank account if desired. If you are completely new to PayPal, here is how to add a bank account:
From the home page, go to profile which is the far right tab on the lower level of tabs at the top of the page. Once under profile, choose the second option which says "add or edit bank account." Do not worry if the money is not in your bank account immediately, typically a money transfer will take 3-4 business days. PayPal does thousands of transactions daily and is a highly respected company. -
Step 5
There are other options with PayPal as well. The company offers a debit card, which I have never used because the transfers have worked fine for me. Here are three ways the company advertises their debit card:
1) Get instant access to the money you receive.
2) Earn 1% cash back whenever you sign for a purchase.
3) 100% protection against unauthorized charges to your card. -
Step 6
You can also request a check from PayPal which is under the withdraw tab and then just choose "request a check." Make sure your addresses and bank information is up to date to ensure timely payment.
