Do a Quick Manicure
Do a Quick Manicure

We all want beautiful manicured nails. We don't always have the time or money to go the nail salon. Use these easy steps to do a quick manicure and your nails will look great in 10-15 minutes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Nail File
  • Nail Buffer
  • Cuticle Pusher
  • Cuticle Oil
  • Clear Nail Polish
  • Cotton Balls or Squares
  • 4-way File/Buffer (optional)
  1. Step 1

Prepare. Set out all of your tools. Use tissue or paper towel for a quick cleanup. Use the cuticle pusher to gently push back the cuticle on each nail. A manicure isn't complete, if cuticles aren't included. If you have on nail polish, use the polish remover and cotton balls or squares to take it off.

  2. Step 2

Shape. Use the nail file to shape your nails. Make sure you align the sides. You can file your nails in a square or along the shape of your finger. Either way, make sure they are all the same length. Next, use the buffer (softer side) to gently buff your nail bed (near the cuticle). Go back and forth 2-3 times on each nail. Then, use the buffer to make sure the tips of your manicure nails are smooth, as well.

  3. Step 3

Polish or No Polish. If you are going to apply clear nail polish for your quick manicure, put a little cuticle oil on each nail. Rub in and then wipe each nail with nail remover. Apply polish and let dry.

If you aren't using polish, wipe the nail with remover first and then apply cuticle oil. Rub in well, as stated above. Your manicure is complete and should look beautiful.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use vitamin e oil instead of cuticle oil.
  • Instead of clear nail polish, use a 4-way buffer for a natural shine.
