During highschool,concentrate on courses such as mathematics (college algebra, trigonometry,precalculus),chemistry, biology, physics, english,computer science.Try to maintain a high GPA, because all medical engineering schools take this into consideration in the admission process.

Complete a biomedical engineering degree, at one of the twenty-nine programs accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).A bachelor degree in biomedical engineering is the minimal education requirement to enter the career of biomedical engineering. However, it is higly preferable that you continue your education with a graduate degree or doctoral degree in biomedical engineering.
