Things You'll Need:
- 1 Canvas Stretcher Bar
- 3/4 inch wide Velcro
- Glue gun
- sewing needle
- thread
- Quilt or tapestry

Step 1
Measure width across top of quilt. Use this measurement when
Purchasing artist stretcher bar. Length of stretcher bar should equal in inches, width of quilt, or slightly shorter
Cut strip of 3/4 inch wide Velcro(hoops &loops) equal in length to stretcher bar. -
Step 2
attached velcroSeparate Velcro:
Using glue gun attach Velcro loop portion to stretcher bar.
Using slip stitch or running stitch, sew Velcro hoop(fuzzy) portion 1/4 to 1/2 inch below top of quilt, across width of quilt. -
Step 3
One end of stretcher bar has a hole. Add a hole to the other end of your stretcher bar, in the same position.
Mount the stretcher bar to desired position on wall using wood screws. -
Step 4
attach quilt to quilt hangerPress top of quilt (Velcro hoops) against stretcher bar(Velcro loops) until Velcro strips attach.
This technique makes it easy to change your quilt display. Without moving wall mounted stretcher bar, remove one quilt and attach another.
