    Planting your pumpkins.
These pumpkins should be planted right into your garden, but can be germinated inside by soaking in warm water until germination. These pumpkins only get to be around 6 pounds, so a large pot is also ideal for these pumpkins, but is not recommmended because it can cause the pumpkin to turn out very small.

  2. Step 2
Water it! (This image is not mine, I take no credit for this.)

    Caring for it.
The pumpkin should be watered only once a day, and should at least have 4-5 hours of sunlight. If the vines start forming pumpkins, and the grass/soil below it is wet, put a crate or hay under it so the pumpkin does not rot on the ground.

    Harvesting.
Harvesting is very easy. Just cut the vine, still leaving a few inches of the vine on there, and take it inside and make yourself a pumpkin pie! Have fun growing them!

Tips & Warnings

  • 4-5 hours of sun a day
  • SOW in average soil
