Step 1

This knot in particular is designed for using with smaller fish such as perch and trout. I do not recommend it if you are fishing for something larger such as catfish or salmon. There are many variations of knots similar to this one that are equally usable. Knots Fishing Line tip: Try to keep your fishing line as clean as possible when not in use, I suggest rinsing it off with fresh water after each fishing session.

Step 3
When learning to tie knots with fishing line remember that it takes practice. Do not rush yourself and end up stabbing your finger with a fish hook.
Knots Fishing Line tip: When learning a new knot practice it several times with a smaller rope. That way you will be able to see clearly how the knot looks when tied correctly, and you will also be able to see flaws in the knot if you tied it incorrectly. -
