Make Ginger Tea Naturally
Make Ginger Tea Naturally

The best way to make ginger tea is naturally. There is powdered ginger and ginger flavored tea but with ginger root being available in the supermarket why not make it naturally? Ginger is used for many things like nausea, an energizer, to boost your immune system, help with menstrual cramps, and has been known to reduce stomach fat. With all those benefits drink a cup of ginger tea everyday.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ginger root
  • Tea strainer
  • Agave (optional)
  1. Step 1

Peel a chuck of ginger root and cut in small pieces. You can also grate the ginger if you prefer.

  2. Step 2

Boil 3 cups of water in a saucepan. While water is boiling add your ginger root. Lower heat and cover pan with lid and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Pour tea through tea strainer. If you don't have a strainer you can still pour water slowly making sure ginger root stays in pan. Add Agave to sweeten instead of sugar because it is all natural and healthier.

Tips & Warnings
  • Agave is a natural sweetener from a cactus plant and is better for you than honey.
