How to Clean a Leather Seat
Over time, leather seats can become dingy and dirty. This is especially true when you do not use the proper cleaning technique. Leather can also shrink if it becomes wet from spills or rain. Storing the leather seat appropriately will allow for a longer life span. In addition, you should clean the car or home leather seat once a week to maintain it in good condition. Attach the hose to the vacuum. Pick up any crumbs, pet hair or other debris with the hose. Vacuum the gaps to remove the remaining rubbish.

Pour a cap-full of leather cleaner on the terry cloth. Make sure the product is safe on leather material. Some products also add a protective coating for a longer lifespan.

Spread the cleaner over the leather seat. Wipe in a circular motion on the front and back of the seat. Rub the cleaner over the seat cushion. This will remove any left on dust, dirt or grime. The cleaner will make the chair shine.

Let the leather seat air dry for 30 to 40 minutes.
