How to Use a Scooter
Many people enjoyed scooters in their younger days, but when the Razor scooter brand was released, popularity in the two-wheeled low-riders surged in all age ranges. A scooter is an easy-to-ride mode of transportation, and one you can pick up and learn to get around on in a matter of minutes.

Grasp the handlebars firmly in your hands.

Place your non-dominant foot on the scooter forward of the center of the foot rest, with your toes pointing forward.

Push off the ground with your dominant foot to propel the scooter.

Place your back foot on the foot rest with the balls of your feet down and your heel hanging over the rear tire brake on downhills or when at an acceptable speed on flatlands.

Turn the handlebars and lean in the direction you wish to turn at the same time to turn the scooter.

Press down on the rear tire brake with your heel to slow down.
