How to Make Graphic Recipe Cards

Graphic recipe cards are a good way to brighten up your recipe box. By putting the recipe on one side and a picture of the finished dish or a reminder of the main ingredient on the front, you can see your dinner before you choose the recipe. Your kids can also help to make these cards by drawing the picture on the front or choosing a picture from a magazine to cut out and paste onto the front.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Divide the number of recipes you have by 3. This will be the number of sheets of card stock you will need. Fill your computer printer with the card stock.

    • 2

Print out the template onto the card stock.

    • 3

Carefully cut each recipe card out on the card stock.

    • 4

Use a pen or markers to neatly write the recipe on the lined side of the card stock.

    • 5

Turn the card over and draw a picture or cut out magazine pictures to glue to the front. For instance, if it is a cake recipe, cut out or draw a picture of a cake.

    • 6

Draw or glue additional pictures onto the lined side of the recipe card with the recipe if there is space.
