Make Homemade Carpet Freshener

A carpet freshner is a powder that can be poured onto the carpet and then vacummed to give the carpet a fresh, clean smell. The cost of commercial freshners can add up and sometimes they aren't very effecitive at neutralizing odors. An effective and often cheaper way to freshen a carpet is to create your own carpet freshener. One effective way to create a carpet freshner is to use rosemary and lavender. Not only do these ingredients give your carpet a nice clean smell, but it also helps fight against fleas and moths.
