Things You'll Need:
- Utility Knife
- Phillips-Head Screwdriver
- Needle-Nose Pliers

Step 1
Turn off the water at the shutoff valves.

Remove the plastic decorative insert piece from the center of the valve's handle. To remove the insert piece, use the edge of a utility knife to pry the piece off of the handle.

Remove the faucet's handle by removing the single screw located in the center of the handle with a Phillips-head screwdriver, then by pulling the handle off of the faucet.

Pull the decorative stainless-steel inner sleeve away from the center of the trim plate.

Remove the faucet by first removing the U-shaped retaining clip located just above the tip of the faucet with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Simply grasp the top of the clip with the pliers, then pull the clip straight up. Once the clip has been removed, pull the old faucet out of the assembly.

Step 6
Insert the new faucet into the assembly, then slide the U-shaped retaining clip into the top of the faucet with the needle-nose pliers. Slide the decorative stainless-steel inner sleeve over the center of the faucet.

Step 7
Slide the handle onto the end of the faucet, then insert the retaining screw through the center of the handle and tighten the screw with the Phillips-head screwdriver. Press the plastic decorative piece onto the center of the handle until it fits into place, then turn the water supply back on to complete the process.
