Instructions

  1. Instructions

    • 1

Consult inventory sheet list to make sure that all pieces are present in the box. Inspect all box contents, (especially drums) for defects, broken parts and scratches.

    • 2

Begin with the throne. Make sure the height of the throne is ideal for you. Some drummers like to sit higher than others, but a good place to start is to adjust the seat so that both of your feet are flat on the floor and you are comfortable.

    • 3

Sit on the throne and put the bass drum where your right foot is located (if you are right handed) and connect the CB bass drum pedal.

    • 4

Place the snare on its stand, between your legs. Keep the CB drum level, and adjust the height to what is comfortable for you.

    • 5

Set up the CB hi-hat stand and cymbals to the left of your snare stand. Make sure the cymbals are at a comfortable height and that you have room to play the hi-hat cymbals with your right hand crossed over the left hand snare.

    • 6

Insert the tom arms into the holes on the bass drum. The left tom arm should be pointing to 7 o'clock, and the right arm should point to 5 o'clock. Make sure both arms are tightened well at the base of the drum.

    • 7

Place the smallest CB tom onto the left arm. How far the arm goes into the drum is up to you, but try and place it in a place that it comfortable to you. Make sure the drum is tilted in a way that allows you to strike the drum comfortably and that gives the drum the most resonance. Make sure the drum is tightened well on the drum arm to avoid slippage.

    • 8

Repeat step 8 with then next biggest tom.

    • 9

Place the CB floor tom legs into the brackets mounted on the floor tom. Place it so that it is level and to the right of the snare drum. Adjust the height of the floor tom so that it is comfortable to hit and so that there is room for the snare drum and the mid-tom.

    • 10

Place any additional cymbal stands in places that are most comfortable to you. A ride cymbal will go anywhere from 2 o'clock to 3 o'clock. Crash cymbal stands can be anywhere you like, but a good place to start is 10, 11 or 1 o'clock.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure everything is intact before you set up and play your CB drums. If there are any problems take the drums back to the store or call customer service. Test out your configuration after you are finished. Is the setup comfortable to you? Can you move around the drums easily or are you having difficulty. Experiment with what you like. Try different angles on the drums and use what is best for you.
