How to Repair Windshield Wipers on a G20 Chevy Van

The Chevy G20 van is a full-sized van that was produced by GM under the Chevy brand name. The G20 came outfitted with two 16-inch wiper blades in the front. Over time, these blades can deteriorate due to exposure to the elements. When the rubber compound finally tears, you'll need to fix them.

Instructions

1. Pull the wiper blade arm away from the windshield until the wiper arm locks in a vertical position.

2. Rotate the bottom of the blade upwards so that it is perpendicular to the wiper blade arm assembly.

3. Lift up on the tab to release the wiper blade.

4. Pull the wiper blade assembly off of the wiper arm.

5. Insert a new wiper blade onto the wiper arm assembly. Make sure that the notched end of the blade is inserted last.

6. Close the retaining tab on the wiper arm assembly to secure the wiper blade in place.
