How to Use Action Replay on the Gamecube

Action Replay is the brand name of a series of "game enhancers" designed to allow users to alter their gameplay experience by using preprogrammed cheat codes. The GameCube Action Replay also allows players to play games from any region via the FreeLoader software included on the disc. There are three different versions of the Action Replay for the Nintendo GameCube, each with different cheats included, but they can all be used in the same way.

Things You'll Need:

• GameCube console
• Action Replay

1. Insert the Action Replay disc into the GameCube and turn it on.

2. Select your country and the game you wish to play.

3. Select the cheats that you want to enable on your game and press "Start" on the GameCube controller.

4. Open the lid of the GameCube and insert the game disc for which you have enabled cheats.

5. Close the GameCube lid and begin your game. Your cheats should now be enabled.

Tips & Warnings

• To play a game from another region, boot your GameCube with the Action Replay disc, select "FreeLoader" and then insert the game you want to play.
• If you are using the Action Replay to play games from another region, do not use your regular memory card--the Action Replay will erase all game data that doesn't match the region of your disc. Use a separate memory card for saving games of a different region.
