How many nights have you struggled to put your child down to bed. Here are some easy tips to help make this a smooth and easy time for you and your child.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide on a bedtime that is best for your child

  2. Step 2

Have a daily schedule of evening events that helps your child recognize it is getting close to bedtime. An example of this would be eating dinner at around the same time every evening, taking a bath, getting ready for bed, and than reading your child a few books before putting them to bed.

  3. Step 3

If you are consistent and do this on a daily basis than after a week your child will adjust to this new schedule and will be ready for bed at the given bedtime.

  4. Step 4

Be patient for every child is different and some may need more time and others may need less but remember it is the best for your child to get a good nights rest as well as yourself
