Step 1
The first step to getting gorgeous bare nails naturally is to increase your intake of calcium, iron, potassium and Vitamin B by adding seafood, soy, celery and dairy products into your regular diet; and drink plenty of water regularly to maintain proper hydration levels.
-
Step 2
Second... ware gloves. We come in constant contact with chemicals all the time, for example, playing with hobby glue or paint, or doing household cleaning. If done without any protection to your skin and nails, this can rob you of essential oils and moisture, causing split and peeling nails (not to mention penetrating skin and getting into your body).
-
Step 3
Maintain regular gaps between applying nail polish, allowing the nails to breathe. Use nail polish remover as seldom as possible, especially avoiding those with acetone; which will mercilessly dry your nails and may also cause yellowing or discoloration.
-
Step 4
Regularly trim your nails to the same length, cutting off any rough edges and spikes. File the ends of the nails to smooth them off into a square or rounded shape and clean out dirt and grim from underneath (avoiding the use of metal tools which can harm your nails). Make sure to gently push back overgrown cuticles. To help strengthen them, squeeze a lemon into a bowl, removing seeds, and soak your hands (or feet), allowing your nails to soak up the minerals. This allows the lemon juice to be directly transferred into your fingernails, along with vitamins and minerals that will help nails to grow properly and become rigid.

Step 5
Then, cut five grapes in half and dip each of the fleshy sides in sugar and use them to massage the area around each nail (one for each finger). Grapes have a mild hydroxy acid which helps break down dead surface cells while the sugar gently sloughs away rough patches and hangnails. Finish each routine with thick lotion or oil enriched with vitamin E; an excellent antioxidant that combines with oxygen and destroys free radicals (from pollution, radiation, etc.) keeping skin healthy and moisturized.
