Use the flex shaft to sand your project as you make your jewelry. There are numerous techniques, tools and attachments that you can use to sand jewelry using the flex shaft. You can wrap sand paper around a mandrel. You can use sanding disks that attach to the flex shaft. You can use 3M radial disks to sand the piece.

Use the flex shaft to clean jewelry castings.

Use your flexible shaft to polish jewelry. You can attach buffs and polish using a one, two or three step polish as you would using a polishing machine. You can also polish using sand paper; the technique is the same as hand sanding to a polish but you have the advantage of mechanical power.

Brushes for flex shaftUse the flex shaft to finish jewelry. You can add scratch, brush or other finishes to your jewelry using your flex shaft.
