How to Spray On Tan
Spray tan is the best option in sunless tanning because there are no streaks or tan lines.
Spray tans are convenient because you will not be scrubbing your palms to remove brown staining after applying sunless tan lotions.
Spray tans are also faster drying than lotions, mousse, gel, or bed tans.
And for an added bonus...no damaging UV rays!

Instructions

1
Prepare your skin by cleansing and exfoliating. Make sure that you also shave where you normally shave. Wait 8 hours.
-
2
Choose whether you want to have a bikini line or you want no tan lines.
-
-
3
Shake your bottle of spray tan and stand with your legs spread apart a bit. Make sure you have a tissue handy for mistakes.
-
4
Start with your feet. Cover the tops of your feet with a light application in a circular motion. Hold the can 12-14 inches away from your skin while spraying.
-
5
Next move up the front of your legs, making sure that you apply the spray tan evenly. It will smooth out a bit as it sits on your skin.
-
6
Finish the sides of your legs and don't forget the insides. You may need help to finish the back of your legs. If not, try using a full-length mirror.
-
7
Finish your torso in the same way, using circular motions.
-
8
Cover all of the sides of your arms and spread your fingers to lightly spray your hands. Make sure you do not spray directly between your fingers and avoid spraying your palms.
-
9
Don't forget to spray your neck and face. It doesn't take much to tan your face. Too little is better than too much.
-
10
Blow dry your body on a cool setting to dry the spray tan.
-
11
Avoid water and sweating for 8 hours. Make sure you moisturize when you do shower next and do not buff or exfoliate your skin or it will start to remove your tan.
Also avoid chlorine hot tubs and pools as your spray tan will come off.

If you make a mistake and have a dark spot that runs, dab it with a tissue and then lightly spray back over that area.
