The rubber band trick is somewhat well-know. In this trick you will make a rubber band magically appear to jump from finger to finger. The trick is not difficult to learn, and can be performed by a child with very little practice. Just follow the easy step-by-step instructions below.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

In order to do the rubber band trick, you'll need to prepare your hand and the rubber band before introducing the trick to your audience. Do this by first placing a normal rubber band on you index and middle finger.

  2. Step 2

Next, stretch and wrap the rubber band around your hand and into your palm.

  3. Step 3

Close your palm tight, like a fist.

  4. Step 4

While maintaining a tight fist, pull the longer strand around your knuckles so that it is underneath your fist and out of sight. You are ready to perform the rubber band trick!

  5. Step 5

Tell your audience that you are going to perform the rubber band trick, and that you will make the rubber band jump to some different fingers.

  6. Step 6

Quickly open your hand with the palm down, and the rubber band will unwind and appear to jump to the other fingers. Now you can show the rubber band trick to all of your friends, and maybe even make some new ones!

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not attempt to perform the rubber band trick if you have hairy fingers!!!
