on 11/13/2009 Item #2 (is the collar waterproof?)is especially important if you will spend a lot of time outdoors training your dog. I found that even when a collar is designated as waterproof, it may not always be as safe in damp environments as you would like.
Should your "waterproof" dog training collar turn out to be damaged by water a good return policy becomes very important. My research shows that Petsafe is extremely consumer oriented and this is the brand I use. We have been very pleased with these products.
