How to Install a Headlight in an Acura 3.2 Tl

Headlights on newer TL models offer high intensity bulbs for increased visibility. The headlight assembly itself is a sealed unit that uses a reflective material on the inside of the housing to reflect the light outwards in front of the TL, creating a projection of light. These headlight assemblies can be easily damaged in front-end accidents, but once you've removed the old headlight, you can easily install a new headlight in your Acura 3.2 TL.

Things You'll Need

• Socket wrench with socket set

Instructions

1. Insert the headlight into the mounting bracket area on the TL.

2. Line up the mounting holes on the headlight assembly with the mounting holes on the chassis.

3. Insert the mounting screw bolts into the mounting holes and turn them clockwise to secure the headlight housing to the chassis.

4. Place the retaining ring over the headlight housing and snap it into place.

5. Connect the electrical connector at the back of the headlight assembly.
